I find a lot of inspiration in the world around me, especially in places that feel a little wild, quiet, and untamed. Most days, you’ll find me exploring the PNW with my girls, hiking trails, chasing new adventures, and finding beauty in the little things. Two of my daughters have even fallen in love with photography, so don’t be surprised if you see some of their work along the way. I recently graduated with my BAS in Leadership and Management, and I’m always looking for new ways to learn, grow, and challenge myself creatively.
My love for photography started with my dad, who would come home from hunting trips with disposable cameras and let me use the leftover film. I still remember picking up those developed photos with him and feeling that excitement of seeing moments come to life. That feeling has stayed with me and grown into a passion for documenting the stories, connections, and moments that make us who we are.
My work is deeply influenced by my own journey and the beauty I’ve found in some of life’s darker seasons. I’m drawn to moody light, raw emotion, and the parts of life that aren’t always polished or talked about. I want my photography to make people feel seen in their real, authentic beauty while using my art and words to empower, inspire, and bring awareness to the deeper stories we often keep hidden. To me, there is beauty in all of it. The light, the darkness, and everything in between.
Hello there, I'm Rachel!
My creativity thrives on rainy, moody days. Rainy days are my calm and inspiration.
I love all things spooky. Horror movies, abandoned houses, dark & foggy forests, ghost towns, HALLOWEEN!
We’re a family of musicians, which means there’s always a soundtrack. Whether it’s instruments playing or someone singing their heart out, our house is a lively one.
